SysTools vCard Export is a utility that enables the end user to convert his contacts which is exported in the format of Microsoft Outlook special private folder (.PST) to few other formats such as vCard (.VCF) the widely accepted format of contact list supported by many other E-mail clients, Windows Address Book (.WAB) which is compatible with Microsoft Outlook Express and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (.XLS). The program handles successfully both the legacy "Ansi" format of the (.PST) files which supports up to 2GB and the "UNICODE" format which has the size limit of 10 GB, this makes the program compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2000-2002-XP (which uses Ansi format of .pst) and Microsoft Outlook 2007(which uses UNICODE format of .pst files).
The software provides the ability of scanning the currently installed default Outlook user contacts but this requires Microsoft Outlook to be installed and a valid profile exists or you can simply browse for your .PST file. While converting the program shows a graphical progress bar that tells you how much percent is completed and remaining. The program can run on almost all windows versions starting from Microsoft Windows 98 to Microsoft Windows Vista. |
